What is a virtual event?
A virtual event is essentially an event that you can attend from the comfort and convenience of your home, office, or wherever else you can think of, through your personal computer or mobile device. Think of it as attending a regular ETA Conference webinar but with the ability to engage with everyone attending a conference online & via Mobile Community App WHOVA. We are bringing two worlds together for a shared unique experience!
When will I receive the instructions for attending the virtual event?
ETA & The Rebuild Team are working diligently to prepare for this unique experience and will send you the necessary instructions within a couple of days before the event launch. Make sure that the email address associated with your registration is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications.
Can my computer or mobile device handle the virtual event?
Most up to date computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual event for you. We use the Mobile App called WHOVA to build community and to provide information. The Whova app also has a desktop version as well.
What do I need to do on the session days for virtual event?
On days where we have sessions scheduled, you will receive a reminder that will look a lot like the initial virtual event email that you will have received prior to the event. This will also contain a link that will automatically login to the live virtual session.
Do I have access to the replays?
In a word, yes! You will be given the opportunity to view the replays for your ticket level. You will access the replays from our online module site. Replays will be uploaded approximately 72 hours after each session. (You won’t need to email to ask for the next replay video, they will appear in your portal) All recorded sessions will be available for you to access at no additional charge for the allotted time frame.
Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes. You will be able to see all speakers along with their presentations.
Can I ask questions during the educational sessions?
We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Q&A area of the Session. This is a social Q&A tool that allows virtual attendees to pose questions from within the online conference Session. These questions are then displayed to the session moderators for response during the live session or afterwards as a follow up.
Can I share my virtual conference login information with others?
Sharing of links and content is not permitted.
Can I upgrade my attendee level?
Yes, please just email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know that you desire to upgrade. We will provide you with your options and the links to complete that transaction.
